Vocational Training Program

The Vocational Training Program at Destiny Cares Resilience and Empowerment Collective is designed to equip individuals with the hands on skills, technical knowledge, and professional confidence needed to enter today’s workforce. Operated under my direct oversight, the program integrates practical instruction, personal development, and faith based support to create a comprehensive pathway to employment and long term stability.

Our primary training track features Electrical Trades instruction led by a licensed Journeyman Electrician with more than 40 years of experience across multiple construction disciplines. His extensive expertise in residential, commercial, and industrial settings provides students with real world insight, safety focused guidance, and the type of practical knowledge that only comes from decades of field experience. Participants will learn foundational wiring, circuitry, tools and equipment usage, codes and safety standards, troubleshooting, and entry level job site skills essential for success in the electrical and construction industries.

In addition to technical training, the program includes job readiness, workplace professionalism, communication skills, and life skills development—all supported by trauma informed care and personalized coaching. This holistic approach ensures that students not only gain employable skills but also build the confidence, discipline, and resilience needed to thrive in both their careers and personal lives.

The Vocational Training Program will expand over time to include multiple trades and workforce development tracks, providing accessible opportunities for individuals seeking to improve their economic mobility, gain stability, and build a sustainable future for themselves and their families.
